Joseph Baldwin
Society:
Recognition of Planned Gifts
The
Joseph Baldwin Society, named after the University's founder, was
created in 1992 by the Truman State University Board of Governors to
honor and recognize those who have provided a planned gift for the
benefit of the University through the Truman State University
Foundation. The University thrives today as a result of Baldwin's vision
and commitment.
Membership in the Baldwin Society is achieved by written confirmation of
a deferred gift commitment. Members of the Baldwin Society are invited
to the Foundation Banquet held on campus each year and are noted in the
President's Report, an annual publication that recognizes the
University's generous supporters.
Qualifying gifts for the Baldwin Society include:
Bequests
Charitable Gift Annuities
Charitable Remainder Trusts (Unitrust and Annuity Trust)
Life Insurance
Life Estate
Other Life Income Arrangements
