Named endowments create a
lasting legacy for the donor and provide permanent resources to benefit

Is my gift tax
deductible?
All gifts made to the Truman State University Foundation are tax deductible
as prescribed by law. In addition, gifts made as bequests or other forms of
planned gifts can yield considerable tax benefits for donors; for more

What is a matching gift program?
If your employer offers a matching gift program you may be able to double
your donation to Truman State University, and in some cases, employers may
match your gift by an even higher percentage. Contact your human resources
office to see if your employer has a matching gift program or search for

How can I
include Truman State University in my will?

Do I need to let Truman know if I have included the

We recommend that you notify the University. This will enable us to not only
show our appreciation for your generosity, but also to include your support
in planning for the future of Truman State University. Those who have made a
planned gift to Truman State University are invited to join the
Joseph Baldwin Society. A

How can
I make a joint gift with my spouse?
When you make your gift, include your spouse's name with your gift and
indicate that you would like for the two of you to receive joint credit for
the gift.
