Larry A. Lunsford, of Overland Park, Kan., serves as the vice president of finance for Bernstein-Rein Advertising, Inc., in Kansas City, Mo. Prior to working at Bernstein-Rein Advertising, Inc., Lunsford worked as manager of the Entrepreneurial Services Group at Arthur Young and Company.

Lunsford is a recipient of the 2003 Alumni Distinguished Service Award. He served as president of the Kansas City chapter of the Truman National Alumni Association (NAA), now known as the Alumni Association, in 1992 and on the Truman NAA Board of Directors from 1993 to 1997, including service as the founding president from 1993 to 1995. Lunsford has also served as a member of Truman's Division of Business and Accountancy Advisory Board. In addition, he has served as a board member and treasurer of the Variety Club and the Epilepsy Foundation for the Heart of America. Lunsford is active in Rotary International, including service as district governor of Rotary District 6040 in 2001-2002.

Lunsford received his bachelor of science degree from Truman in 1981 graduating summa cum laude, did graduate work at the University of Newcastle in Australia in 1982, and earned a master's of accountancy from Truman in 1983.
