Truman Parent Project
2013-2014 Project: Student Wellness
This initiative will provide funding for a new comprehensive wellness program to improve the overall health of Truman students. Parents want to provide the best for their students and recognize that the stresses of college life present unique challenges to maintaining personal health. This project aims to equip students for these challenges by providing educational programs and hands-on interactive experiences. Programming will address areas such as stress management, physical fitness, nutrition, financial planning and other topics to help students achieve whole-person health.
Through this project, Truman is addressing life outside the classroom and its commitment to providing the necessary tools to help students succeed. This project also demonstrates Truman Parents investment in all students as they build a foundation of healthy living that will prepare them for life after Truman.
