How your gift
helps students
The University's budget is comprised of:
state funding
student tuition
private gifts
Over the past few decades, the University has seen a dramatic decrease in state funding.
For the 1985-86 academic year, the state funded 72 percent of the University's total budget. Today, the state finances just 50 percent.
Your gifts provide a helping hand to students from all segments of society who will be creative leaders and engaged world citizens.
