"I was recruited to Truman on a track and field scholarship. Since Truman is a smaller school, I am able to focus on my academics and balance with sports. I am also the social chair for the African Students Association. At a larger university, you can get lost in the shuffle. It's a close community here, and everyone is always willing to help you out."
